Unipress Entrance Lobby

The interiors of this scientific research complex provided a series of design challenges; from an unknown and hidden combination of new and old building techniques and materials, to the need to update egress routes to comply with European Union building norms and regualtrions.

Whereas the original design called for wooden clad walls, a last minute decision had them changed to the more expensive thick marble cladding as can be seen in the photos.

The lobby renovation has been completed and work on the remaining 50 000 sq. ft. continues.
